Summit Ski Area was established in 1927, and is the second oldest continuously operating ski area in the United States. Summit’s base elevation is 4,000 ft. and has 306 ft. of vertical lift for skiing and snowboarding. Summit Ski Area caters to families and novices. Summit also offers snow tubing.

Located in the village of Government Camp, the gateway to Mt. Hood
Summit Ski Area serves up comfort food and Mt. Hood Brewing Co. craft ales onsite, along with hot and cold beverages. For more food and beverage offerings, Government Camp is home to several restaurants including the Mt. Hood Brewing Co. brewpub. Stay the night on Mt. Hood at Timberline Lodge or in a luxury condo at The Lodge at Government Camp.
